What counts as an active recipient?

An active recipient is any unique email address with at least one email event in the last 30 days. We use a rolling 30-day window — not your billing cycle — so recipients naturally drop off after 30 days of inactivity. Events include deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, and complaints. The same email across multiple integrations counts as one recipient. For example, if you send to 5,000 addresses this week and 3,000 of them were also emailed in the past 30 days, your active count is 5,000 (not 8,000).

What happens if I exceed my recipient limit?

We'll notify you as you approach your plan limit so you have time to upgrade. On Starter, Growth, and Scale plans, if usage continues to grow significantly beyond the limit, automation may pause until the next billing cycle or upgrade — you'll never be charged extra. Pro is designed for mission-critical environments and does not pause. If Pro usage exceeds the plan limit, additional usage is billed in 5,000-recipient blocks at a predictable rate.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Yes. Annual billing saves 17% (equivalent to 2 months free). For Pro customers with sustained high volume, discounted annual overage rates are also available.

All plans come with a 30-day money back guarantee, no questions asked. Monthly plans receive a full refund. Annual plans receive a refund minus payment processing fees (approximately 3%), which are charged by our payment processor and non-recoverable.
